Long-Term Care Ombudsman for 12 East Arkansas Counties
EAAAA's Ombudsman advocates for people who live in long-term care facilities in East Arkansas. If you or a loved one has a concern about care or rights, call us and we'll work toward a resolution.
Who the Ombudsman Serves
The Ombudsman program serves people who live in long-term care facilities in our 12-county area. Residents, family members, and friends can all reach out when something isn't right.
Call 800-467-3278 or send us a message to raise a concern. Tell us the name of the facility, what county it's in, and what's going on. You don't need to have all the details or know what the problem is called. If you're not sure whether something is a concern, call us anyway.
Residents have a right to be heard. We keep your concern confidential, so you can speak up without fear of being reprimanded.

What Happens After You Call
- We listen. We'll ask questions to understand the situation.
- We visit. Our Ombudsman goes to the facility and talks with the resident and staff.
- We work toward a resolution. We help the resident and the facility find a way to resolve the issue.
Use Your Voice and Advocate for Residents' Rights
The Ombudsman program allows individuals who live in Long Term Care facilities a voice in which their concerns can be heard without being reprimanded. Our Ombudsman conducts regular visits to Long Term Care facilities and will investigate complaints by interacting with the residents and staff to find a resolution to their issues.
