What is SeniorNet?
SeniorNet is an international nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide older adults education to computer technology to enhance their lives and enable them to share their knowledge and wisdom. The nonprofit SeniorNet teaches seniors (ages 50 plus) to use the computer and the internet.
How does SeniorNet work in Northeast Arkansas?
East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging sponsors the Jonesboro and Paragould locations. The classes are taught by volunteers and older adults, already familiar with the computer. The volunteers conduct the classes once a week for 2 hours for a total of 8 weeks or less.

What is the cost?
The cost for SeniorNet is $45.00 for a years membership or $10.00 per class session. The yearly memebership allows a person to enroll in as many classes as they wish for an entire year. The $10.00 fee entitles you to take the class but this does not include a membership to SeniorNet. There is an additional charge for each additonal class after the initial class of $8.00 to cover the cost of materials.
