Exercise Classes |
| |
Research shows we are an unhealthy nation coupled with the fact that as we age we lose flexibility, muscle mass, bone density, coordination and over all cardiovascular endurance. Older adults are more likely to experience chronic diseases such as Arthritis, Hypertension, Diabetes and Heart Disease. To help combat this problem the East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging offers a variety of classes tailored to meet a variety of needs.
Arthritis Aquatic Exercise:
The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program for adults is a recreational exercise program designed to accommodate the abilities of individuals with arthritis and other related diseases. All classes are taught by Arthritis Foundation Certified instructors.
